Creative Works

Stories told across 12 distinct forms.

From field research to moving image, each form gives us a different way to document memory, culture and social change.

1
Documentary

Documentary

We make feature, short, and series documentaries rooted in real lives and real places. Working closely with the communities we film, we approach each subject with patience and care, letting lived experience guide the story rather than shaping it to fit a narrative.

2
Fiction Film

Fiction Film

Our narrative work draws from memory, place, and imagination to tell stories grounded in emotional and cultural truth. Fiction becomes a space to explore what documentary cannot always reach — inner life, dialogue, and the texture of everyday experience.

3
Performing Arts

Performing Arts

Through theatre, live art, and public performance, we create work in shared physical spaces where audience and performer meet in real time. This practice keeps us connected to tradition, spontaneity, and the collective energy of live storytelling.

4
Digital Storytelling

Digital Storytelling

We build podcasts, interactive narratives, and visual essays for audiences engaging with stories in new formats. This work extends our reach beyond traditional screens, meeting people where they already are.

5
Photography

Photography

Through documentary photography and long-form photo essays, we capture moments that stand alone as testimony. Photography lets us slow down and hold a single frame with the same depth of attention we bring to film.

6
Research

Research

Our research practice includes reports, essays, field notes, and oral histories that inform and deepen our creative work. Every film and performance is backed by careful inquiry, ensuring what we make is thoughtful, accurate, and respectful of context.

7
Ecocinema & Environmental Storytelling

Ecocinema & Environmental Storytelling

We explore the relationship between people, culture, and the natural world through film and visual media, examining ecological change, multispecies coexistence, and the environments that shape everyday life.

8
Cultural Heritage Preservation

Cultural Heritage Preservation

We document and safeguard traditions, oral histories, and cultural practices at risk of disappearing, working to ensure they remain part of the living record rather than fading into memory alone.

9
Community Workshops & Training

Community Workshops & Training

We run hands-on workshops in filmmaking, storytelling, and creative practice, sharing skills and tools with young artists, students, and community members to build local creative capacity.

10
Exhibitions & Installations

Exhibitions & Installations

We present visual and multimedia work in physical spaces, turning research and storytelling into immersive exhibitions that invite audiences to engage directly with the subjects we explore.

11
Archival Work

Archival Work

We collect, preserve, and revisit archival footage, photographs, and materials, treating the past as an active resource for understanding the present and shaping future storytelling.

12
Screenwriting & Development

Screenwriting & Development

We work on script development, story structure, and dramaturgy for both documentary and fiction projects, strengthening narratives from concept through to final draft.

Lunana (2019): Finding Purpose Beyond Modern Life

Pawo Choyning Dorji’s Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom (2019) is a deeply moving film that explores education, modernity, cultural identity and the meaning of happiness. Snowpiercer (2013): A Critical Analysis of Class, Power and Revolution

Bong Joon-ho’s Snowpiercer (2013) is a powerful dystopian film that uses a constantly moving train to explore class inequality, political control, environmental disaster and revolution. Through its divided society, the film presents a disturbing vision of a world where survival depends on maintaining a brutal social hierarchy.
